Happy Friday!
The Cool Breeze Century weekend is upon us and let's hope it keeps to its name and the temps are cooler riding along the coast:) For those riding this stay hydrated and enjoy the ocean views...always a fun event. Hopefully they have stocked up on popsicles..gonna need 'em I hope your legs are ready to train because registration is opening soon for the greatest ride of the year: The Mike Nosco Memorial Ride:http://www.mikenosco.com/ Keep your eye on this site for more details to come, don't miss it--you will be inspired, you will have fun and you will be a part of the biggest, most powerful peloton you've ever seen.....That being said...start your training now because this is no easy ride, but well worth the effort. This is your chance to ride with the pros as many will join us--in the past Dave Zabriskie, Mari Holden, Kendall and Alexis Ryan, and more have joined us. I will keep you posted as details come in. Check with your local Agoura shops; Serious Cycling, Franco, Newbury, Wins or for San Diego bikers-- Revolution, Hi-Tec, or Ride Cyclery for ride start times this weekend....some of the shops are starting earlier to beat the heat, so stop by and ask---good idea to be out early:) I will be in the Westlake area Saturday and Sunday. Saturday will do a pre -ride of the clinic course for Sunday's SheCycles2 clinic. Give a shout out if you see us:) If you are interested in being a part of the B4T9 Women's Cycling Team, let me know. We have an additional clothing order in and can give you information on what joining the team means. Email me: rlmzenzyus@gmail.com The boys (and a girl:) at Road Bike Action are gearing up for Interbike; the biggest US industry bike show. They will be bringing you all the latest, greatest in gear, bikes, clothing and fun happenings at this industry event so stay tuned via the website, Facebook and Twitter for all that cool stuff. Since it's the season for bonking here's a great look at all those gels, ars, electrolytes and powder drinks mixes--what's in them for carbs, proteins, fats and what each is used for--- here you go: http://www.roadbikeaction.com/Tech-and-New-Product-News/content/122/5896/Ride-Stronger-and-Recover-Faster.html
