Good morning and welcome to the weekend my friends. I hope everyone enjoyed the long holiday weekend and clocked in many miles on the bike.
The weather has turned absolutely perfect with cool mornings and warm afternoons; perfect for getting in the mode of base training miles. But before that starts the Masters' Nationals races must finish in Bend,Oregon. So far this week our local riders have been collecting a boat load of heavy medal. The B4T9 ladies Jill Gass and Maryann Levenson have won in both Time Trial and Tandem Time Trial, Avalon Jenkins is racing well and Kelly Mclaughlin has maintained her space in the top half--she has done well racing this year and wasn't even riding two years ago!!! Strong woman and we are so proud of her as a teammate and as it shows to the success of our mission to get women not only to ride, but to enjoy the occasional race too. There are lots of new ride options so I'm going to list some brief details of each and where you can go for more info just to keep it brief...Santa Barbara to San Diego, why limit yourself to one area when there are hills to conquer everywhere! Westlake Village area:
